Four weeks to Black Friday
Set your numbers and dates, tick off four short weeks, then switch on what Shopper already has. Every step is something you can do yourself.
Type in last December. You get a target for November and December, built from how Pixfizz stores actually sold last year.
| Month | Sales target | Orders target | Per week |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fill in last December's orders and sales. | |||
The days below are examples. Change them to yours and your dates update. Publish the store-wide date everywhere.
| Product | December production (days) | Shipping (days) | Order by: delivery | Order by: pickup |

About an hour a day. Finish one week before the next starts.
Shopper features made for the holidays. Each one says where to switch it on, and where Claude can help, the prompt. Try each on experience.pixfizz.com first.
Offers that apply by themselves in the cart, no code to type.
Ready-made formulas and the reward chooser are in section 5.
"Add $12 more for a free photo ornament", with a progress bar, and a button to add the gift once unlocked.
Not a tick box yet: today it is one pasted snippet.
Using the Pixfizz plugin, write a cart gift bar for my Shopper site [URL] as an override of checkout/extra-cart-code, like the one on experience.pixfizz.com/site/cart. Threshold: $[60]. Reward: a free [photo ornament], product link [paste the product page link]. Show "Add $X more for a free [gift]", a progress bar, and once unlocked a button to add the gift. Match my site's button color. Then give me the matching automatic discount formula and tell me exactly where to paste both.The chosen store shows a named bag "ready for pickup". Delivery shows the address as a shipping label that fills in as people type.
The delivery and pickup box shows "Order today, ready Thursday" from each product's production time.
Version 1, product pages: the ready-by date shows on experience; the same fix for every site is being rolled out. Version 2, arrival dates per item in the cart (Louisville East design): coming.
Countdown, gift ideas, a gift box to shake, a spin, the free gift. See experience.pixfizz.com/site/holiday.
Today the config is pasted text. A holiday page you set up with ticks is on the list.
Pick a design, add photos, see the card in seconds. Holiday designs included, printed by your lab or a print partner.
One-click install from myPixfizz: coming.
Your 3 to 5 heroes up front: one hero image, or a sliding banner if you have several.
Three reminders at 1, 24 and 72 hours. Steps in section 6.
Every offer below goes in the same place: Marketing → Automatic Discounts → New. The formula is Liquid first; whatever it prints is then worked out as an amount in your currency. Prices, levels and dates are yours to decide.
Prompt for Claude, if you want it checked or changed:
{%- assign px_free = 0 -%}
{%- if cart.orderlines_total >= 60 -%}
{%- for ol in cart.orderlines -%}
{%- if px_free == 0 and ol.product.code contains 'orn-' -%}
{%- assign px_free = ol.price | divided_by: ol.quantity -%}
{%- endif -%}
{%- endfor -%}
{%- endif -%}
{%- if px_free > 0 -%}{{ px_free }}{%- endif -%}
How it reads: once the cart reaches $60, find the first ornament (its product code contains "orn-") and take the price of one off. ol.price is the line total, so it divides by quantity: two ornaments, one free. The $60 includes the ornament. Try it: add an ornament on experience, then open the cart.
Takes the percentage off what is left after any promo code, so a code and this offer never discount the same dollars twice.
{%- if cart.orderlines_total >= 200 -%}
(orderlines_total - orderlines_discount) * 0.15
{%- elsif cart.orderlines_total >= 100 -%}
(orderlines_total - orderlines_discount) * 0.10
{%- elsif cart.orderlines_total >= 50 -%}
(orderlines_total - orderlines_discount) * 0.05
{%- endif -%}
Test: carts of $49, $50, $100 and $200.
One item from each of three groups in the cart, and those items get 10% off. Each group is a piece of text found in that product's code (Products list, Code column). Change card,cal,orn- to your own.
{%- assign set_parts = 'card,cal,orn-' | split: ',' -%}
{%- assign set_hit = '' -%}
{%- assign set_n = 0 -%}
{%- assign set_total = 0 -%}
{%- for ol in cart.orderlines -%}
{%- assign set_done = false -%}
{%- for p in set_parts -%}
{%- if set_done == false and ol.product.code contains p -%}
{%- assign set_done = true -%}
{%- assign set_total = set_total | plus: ol.price -%}
{%- assign set_tag = '[' | append: p | append: ']' -%}
{%- unless set_hit contains set_tag -%}
{%- assign set_hit = set_hit | append: set_tag -%}
{%- assign set_n = set_n | plus: 1 -%}
{%- endunless -%}
{%- endif -%}
{%- endfor -%}
{%- endfor -%}
{%- if set_n >= set_parts.size -%}{{ set_total | times: 0.10 }}{%- endif -%}
Test: two cards only (no discount), then a card, a calendar and an ornament (10% off those three). Check no other product's code contains your text.
Steps aside when a promo code is used.
{%- assign today = 'now' | date: '%Y%m%d' | plus: 0 -%}
{%- if today >= 20261127 and today <= 20261130 and cart.promocode_code == blank -%}
orderlines_total * 0.15
{%- endif -%}
Test on the first and last day: the time zone the date is read in is not confirmed.
Moves card orders out of the December peak. 10% off every card line until 30 Nov.
{%- assign today = 'now' | date: '%Y%m%d' | plus: 0 -%}
{%- assign early_total = 0 -%}
{%- if today < 20261201 -%}
{%- for ol in cart.orderlines -%}
{%- if ol.product.code contains 'card' -%}
{%- assign early_total = early_total | plus: ol.price -%}
{%- endif -%}
{%- endfor -%}
{%- endif -%}
{%- if early_total > 0 -%}{{ early_total | times: 0.10 }}{%- endif -%}
Change 'card' to the text in your card product codes.
Put your regulars in a customer category called regulars (Users), then:
{%- if user.category == 'regulars' -%}
orderlines_total * 0.10
{%- endif -%}Only one automatic discount applies at a time, the biggest, unless the ones involved have Combines ticked. They apply on top of promo codes unless the formula says otherwise.
Here are my bestsellers for the last 3 months with quantities and prices: [paste, or for OrderHub users: use OrderHub to get my top products]. My average order is $[x]. Suggest: 1) the free gift threshold, just above my average order, 2) the best free gift (cheap for me to make, nice to receive), 3) three add-ons to show in the cart for my top 5 products, each with a one-line reason. Keep it to a table, then write the cart message.
One gift order should become a customer who comes back in January and next Christmas.
